EASI View

1.0.0-rc.1
Illustrated workspace with synthetic imagery. Try the working viewer in the playground.
THE VIEWER IS ITS OWN PACKAGE

One workspace. Standalone or in your app.

npm install @xinonix/easi-view@1.0.0-rc.1

BUILD THE EXPERIENCE AROUND YOUR IMAGES

Your workflow comes first.

A viewer should feel like part of the application, whether you are exploring a study or building a product around it.

IMAGING PRODUCT TEAMS

Add a viewer to your application.

Keep your navigation, identity and workflow. Give users a capable imaging workspace inside the product they already use.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Go from a dataset to its images.

Open local DICOM studies, inspect attributes and measurements, or connect an archive. Use built-in synthetic studies to check the viewing setup.

PLATFORMS & INTEGRATORS

Make the workspace your own.

Use the standalone viewer or mount the JavaScript SDK. Configure sources and visible controls, apply your brand, and build around explicit viewer events.

LESS ASSEMBLY. MORE APPLICATION.

A coherent workspace.
Ready to build around.

Bring the viewing essentials together in one place, with the patient, selected images and active tools kept in context.

01

A library that stays organized.

Find patients, move through their studies and series, and open image stacks in the pane you choose. Add local studies without starting the session again.

Patient → study → series → instance
02

Give every view a purpose.

Arrange one, two or four panes. Compare studies or view the same stack with different windows. Link compatible slices and views when recorded geometry supports it.

Independent panes · checked links
03

Make the image useful.

Window, pan, zoom and probe. Draw distances, angles and region measurements, inspect their available units and statistics, then edit or export your work.

Original values · explicit calibration
04

Move through the acquisition.

Scroll image stacks, select individual frames and play supported multi-frame clips with available recorded timing. Pause at an image and keep working.

Stack navigation · frame controls · cine
05

Keep the details within reach.

Inspect DICOM attributes with expandable sequences and nested items. Separate measurement, object and performance panels keep deeper functions discoverable.

Hierarchical attributes · focused tools
06

Choose where images come from.

Open files, folders and DICOMDIR media on the device, or connect configured DICOMweb sources. Traditional DIMSE archives use a separately operated HTTP gateway.

Local media · explicit archive access

YOUR BRAND. YOUR WORKFLOW.

A drop-in viewer.
With room to make it yours.

Set the product name, logo and theme. Choose which panels and synthetic examples are visible. Keep your application in charge of identity, source configuration and the surrounding workflow.

The browser ES-module SDK mounts inside your container with scoped styles and keyboard shortcuts. Its events and typed API let your application open images, respond to selections and release the viewer when the user moves on.

  • Standalone application and embeddable SDK
  • Brand, theme and chrome configuration
  • Viewer-owned rendering, tools and lifecycle
  • Independent EASI JS streaming data pipeline
Follow the SDK integration guide
your-viewer.js · browser ES moduleJavaScript
import { createViewer } from '/easi-view/assets/easi-view.js';

const viewer = createViewer(document.querySelector('#viewer'), {
  branding: { name: 'Your Imaging' },
  theme: { accent: '#7aa9ff', panel: '#121b2b' },
  ui: { demos: false }
});

await viewer.ready;
await viewer.openDemo('ct');

// When your application removes the component:
// viewer.dispose();

Give #viewer a height and copy the complete runtime asset directory, including its worker and codec WASM. The guide includes the setup.

A DATA PIPELINE UNDER THE PICTURE

Built with EASI JS.
An independent viewer.

EASI JS reads and prepares imaging data through expressive streaming pipelines. EASI View adds its own renderer, loading runtime, interactions and workspace on top, with a separate repository, package and release cycle.

Use the library when you need imaging data. Use the viewer when your users need to work with the images. Compose both into the product you want to build.

A SOLID BASE. A CLEAR SCOPE.

Available as a
research release candidate.

1.0.0-rc.1 is published. It focuses on a dependable viewing and integration foundation. Supported grayscale, color and compressed DICOM profiles are defined explicitly; a modality name alone does not establish compatibility.

The final full-corpus qualification remains in progress before stable 1.0.0. This release does not claim clinical or regulatory validation. Existing reconstruction, derived-object and specialty research features retain their separately documented boundaries.

CAPABLE SOFTWARE. ROOM TO GROW.

Premium capability.
A generous way to begin.

Source-available under the EASI View Community License. Free use is available to eligible individuals, qualifying research institutions and nonprofits, and organization groups with annual gross revenue strictly below US$5 million.

Larger organization groups need a written commercial license unless an institutional exception applies. Embedding and downstream use follow the license’s terms; commercial and OEM agreements can cover your product’s distribution needs.

Source-available, not an OSI-approved open-source license. The full terms govern eligibility. EASI JS and third-party components retain their separate licenses.
